Vanilla Buttercream Frosting
Not too sweet — creamy, fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth vanilla buttercream.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, soft
- 2 - 2 1/2 cups SumSweet+ Confectioners
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2-3 tbsp heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Add the soft butter cubes, salt, and vanilla to a stand mixer. With the paddle attachment, mix on high until the butter is pale, smooth, and fluffy.
- Reduce to low and gradually add the SumSweet+ Confectioners, half a cup at a time. Once all added, mix on medium 2 minutes until fluffy and creamy.
- Add the cream and whisk 1 minute to incorporate.
Notes
Soften butter by leaving it out for about 4 hours. If too stiff, add extra cream 1 tablespoon at a time.
