Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
Creamy, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate frosting. Perfect for piping cakes and cupcakes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 1/2 cups powdered SumSweet+ Granular
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 tbsp heavy cream
Instructions
- Add the softened butter to a large mixing bowl and beat for 1-2 minutes until smooth, creamy, and nearly white.
- Add the salt and vanilla. Mix until incorporated.
- With the mixer on low, slowly add the powdered SumSweet+ and cocoa powder.
- Add the heavy cream one tablespoon at a time, mixing slowly, until it reaches the consistency you'd like.
- Beat for 1 minute on medium until smooth and creamy.
